Lipomas

A lipoma is a slow-growing lump of fat that is most often located between the skin and the hidden muscle layer. Lipomas can form anywhere on the body. In general, they present the following

characteristics: They are located just under the skin, they are soft and pasty to the touch, they are usually small. If it causes discomfort or pain, or if it increases in size, it may need to be removed by day surgery, which takes 20 to 30 minutes.

Moles

They exist in different shapes, sizes and even colors, ranging from a few to hundreds. We all have moles, but when should we worry about one? When these increase in size, are asymmetrical, have irregular edges, change color or have bleeding.

Laser mole removal is a very suitable and professional option, consisting of gently polishing the lesions until reaching the level of the rest of the skin, fully respecting the surrounding tissues. It is an outpatient medical procedure.

Genital warts

They are common lesions of the anogenital region, which appear in both men and women. They originate as a result of infection by the human papillomavirus (sexually transmitted and very frequent). They are contagious to other people and without treatment can increase in size and number.

The treatment consists of its destruction and elimination through: Topical drugs. Surgical treatment: excision of warts with a scalpel, electrocautery, laser, cryotherapy.

Infected diabetic foot

It is an ulceration of the tissues that form the foot in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. It appears when blood glucose levels are inadequate and becomes an ulcer when it has not been well treated early, so it is very important that the feet of people with diabetes are monitored. It can appear in at least 20% of diabetic people.

At Gastro Wellness we use the most advanced healing methods for these types of wounds, ulcers that shorten recovery time and can prevent amputation. Pressure ulcers.

Varicose veins

These are veins in the legs that present permanent dilations. Chronic venous insufficiency, also known as varicose veins or varicose veins, are swollen veins caused by an abnormal pooling of blood due to weakness, often inherited, in the walls and valves of the superficial veins. This causes the veins to widen and dilate, so that blood easily pools when a person stands for a long time.

The treatment does not imply a hospital stay or a long and uncomfortable recovery, thanks to less invasive outpatient procedures, such as laser or radiofrequency.
